I am trying to identify a book I once read. Actually, I believe it was a series of books in which a boy had to track down six magical rings. I seem to remember from the description the rings were described as having crosses in the middle. Anyhow, they were each made of different materials (glass, wood, iron, and three others I can’t remember), and the rings posessed some kind of magical powers. The boy’s name was William, I believe, or something similar, and he was pursued by some kind of evil that wanted to collect the rings for itself. Something special happened when all six were connected together. If anyone could help me identify these books, I would be eternally grateful. Thank you.

ok, i was thinking about it but i saw that it can give them helath problems and i cant “just let them **** where they want to ****!” cuz my parents rnt thrilled about that idea. is there a way i can teach him to **** in a certain area while he’s out -without a command? im afraid if he learns to on command that he’ll try and hold it until i say “poop” every time. whats ur thought?

PS-my tiel is afraid of new toys. i got him from a friend and theres only a rope knot and some plastic rings which ive never seen him play with (probly cuz theyre form a few years ago). the only thing ive notive him touch so far are mardigraw beads, wooden marbles, and playing cards-o and shoe strings. EXCEPT he only touches thema t all when he;s out of the cage. ive never seen him touch them when i put them inside. any ideas?

I have a set of beautiful handcarved wooden salad bowls from Africa. I used to use these at every chance, but my dumbness served rice in the large bowl and stuck it in the fridge overnight. When I took it out the next day, the area where the rice had been had a white tint to it, almost like a film, but it will not wipe off. If you put water in the bowl, it goes away for a minute, but comes back once it dries. I dont want to do anything to mess it up b/c it is very special to me, but I want to be able to use it, or at least set it on display w/o the ugly white ring. PLEASE HELP!
I’m going home tonight and trying the olive oil rub and maybe the baking soda…. wish me luck!
oh and the rice was not hot when it was put in the fridge, nor was the rice really “hot” when it went into the bowl, closer to room temp. the bowls had been in the frige before w/ no probs. I’d prefer to not use anything chemical since this IS a food container. Thanks!
