Wooden Wedding Rings

Williepe asked:

Sylvia Plath and Amy Winehouse. And why not?!

WORDS

Axes
After whose stroke the wood rings,
And the echoes!
Echoes traveling
Off from the center like horses.

The sap
Wells like tears, like the
Water striving
To re-establish its mirror
Over the rock

That drops and turns,
A white skull,
Eaten by weedy greens.
Years later I
Encounter them on the road-

Words dry and riderless,
The indefatigable hoof-taps.
While
From the bottom of the pool, fixed stars
Govern a life.

Amazing Wedding Planning

  7. Bill, please don’t be so kind to this woman who calls herself GreatGig1. She left me to go to the beach for a week. My life has been an empty shell since she’s been gone.

  10. Paul(Paultinsel) and I were talking just last night at how super talented you are, how creatively you make your videos; really television documentary quality. Just wanted to let you know in case your ears were burning, it is nothing to worry about :)

  11. Oh noooooooooooooooooo! I have certainly appreciated your enthusiasm! Your comments on the different videos are very insightful, and I thank you so, so much. Each YouTuber is different and has his or her own things that are most important. I always sought to make, I dunno, what I hoped were visually pleasing videos. I couldn’t be a v-logger b/c I dislike how I appear (at present). Plus my own complex history (and longing for a lost home) held me under a pressure to present the people and things.

  12. Artistic and inspirational! I’m stuck on your channel at the moment…lol Sorry for all my worthless comments, but I did want you to know I’ve been watching. I’m drawn here like a leaf is to sunshine…:-)

  13. So it was my book collection, eh?
Oh, and I’ll remind you about this video when you comment disparagingly on how much I read. (hehe)
Next video, Amy’s hair as a tribute to the Ronettes?

  20. This is phenomenal. Probably one of my favorites. I LOVED the Motown addition and finishing it off with Amy. It’s amazing how similar the two are. You out did yourself on this one, honey. Loved it!!!

  21. Thanks for always commenting on my videos, Susan. It means a lot! I am very happy with how this one turned out. And it was neat to finally be able to do something involving a life-long inspiration: Plath.

    Comment by Williepe — June 26, 2009 @ 5:57 pm

  22. Bill your videos are amazing. your words are so creative. I admit I have never read Plath but her story is a tragic one.
