What do you think of our wedding rings? I think they’re awesome. Unfortunately, I can’t wear them once I start working (I’m in Nursing school currently, but I”ll be working in a year). The moisture from hand-washing and gloves could destroy these rings over time. But wooden rings are so amazing and beautiful and unique.
I Need to know where I can buy silver rings (smooth) so I can wear it to work, while these rings are for all other times. I can’t find one online in a size 5.5 (I find whole sizes, but not half sizes in that small).
It doesn’t mess up so easily, it’s pretty strong, it just can’t handle too much water or beating. It can take some water, like drops of rain and stuff. It also could take light hitting against things. It’s not like I do construction work in my spare time. These rings are our ‘official’ engagement rings, and the silver is just for something smooth and waterproof.
Sure they are more sensitive than metal, but they are still hardy.
I’m sort of a green environmental, socially-friendly kind of person. This makes the best ring for me. I got the silver base so it is stronger and the way the ring was made was to secure it better.
Lots of people use wooden rings for wedding rings, they are my absolute favorite to look at!

Mine was a custom order.
I do mean silver. I want something inexpensive, just for work. I’m open to other affordable metals, but it’s not a big deal.
usually, they use fallen wood, so no trees are cut down.
Many health care professionals don’t even wear their rings, especially if there are stones in the wedding ring. I just want something to keep there. I have a couple of married friends in my class who don’t wear either of their rings to clinicals.

They are different, but wood would break kind easier than metal and well, you want your rings to last, even if you don’t wear them all the time, I don’t think they’d last a long time.=&sr=1&fbc=0&origkw=wedding+band&kw=wedding+band&parentPage=search&searchId=22683198613
has some, I just cut and paste this site here.
I wear a size 3. So I think you’d have no problem finding sizes and if you do, they have their own jeweler that resizes the rings for you.

You can find half sizes at a jeweler…kays, Gordons, halzebergs etc.
I dont know if I would want a ring that could be messed up so easily…but all that matters is what you want!!!!

Hi and congratulations!
Those are very unique and I must say….very pretty! There are very different.
When you said “silver” are you meaning “white gold?” There are lots on this site….here is just one….and most come in the 1/2 sizes.
Good luck:=

Well personally I am not a fan of the wooden rings.
Yeah they look okay but why would you want something that you cant wear every day as a wedding ring. They sound as if they wont last very long…..a wedding ring is supposed to last a lifetime. As a dress ring, or something to wear occassionally it would be okay I guess but not as the ring you are going to wear for the rest of your life.
I think a wedding band should be something that is durable and slipped onto your finger during the ceremony and there it stays.
If you have two wedding bands then which ring is the sentimental one? I would prefer to have my ring put on my finger and then wear it always. But then I am a traditionalist.
I too like the environment but I am not sure how a wooden ring is green…..doesnt a tree need to be cut down to make these rings? That confuses me somewhat? Or is it recycled wood?

The rings are very unique and I haven’t seen anything like it. Personally that’s not what I would choose but hey… whatever floats your boat! Here is a website that I used to get my wedding ring at:
The rings aren’t in silver but they are reasonably priced white gold. (P.S. Congratulations on getting into nursing school I’ll be taking my NCLEX in a few weeks so wish me luck!)

I think they are beautiful - never saw such things before!
I have two sisters who are nurses, and both just wear a plain gold band when they are at work.
Here are some silver bands. Just order one in a size six, and get it resized smaller at a local jewellery store -
